¡Hola Amigos! I’m Caitlin. I’m currently living and serving in Lima, Peru. I’m here in association with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod’s mission plant the Lutheran Mission of Peru. I came to Peru in 2013 as an intern and fell in love with the country, the people and the work. As a result I’m still here!
I am 25 years old, single, and a proud aunt. I was born and raised in Michigan’s beautiful south west and have a deep love for home. I attended Central Michigan University and then Concordia Theological Seminary. I have a B.S.W. in Social Work and Sociology and a M.A. in Theology with certification as a Deaconess of the LCMS.
I have a passion for at-risk youth, theological education and human care or mercy work. I ask a lot of question, love to read and enjoy learning new things. You might say I’m a little bit of an adventurous person. However, this is certainly the biggest adventure I have ever taken!
I’m certain that you’ll get to know me even better as you read about my life and the work that the Lord is doing in it.
